Terms and conditions

Great Emancipation and National Zeal (ZEAL). Last updated 15 October 2026.

These terms apply when you create a ZEAL member or agent account, whether you use email and password or Google. By creating an account you confirm that you have read them and the Privacy policy.

Membership

A member account is for a person who wants to join ZEAL and, where they choose, seek a county, constituency, or ward seat. You must give a real name and an email address you can access. Membership is not complete until the fee for the plan you select has been paid. Paid, active members may be listed on the public roll.

The party's constitution, manifesto, statement of ideologies, and nomination and election rules govern party life. If those documents and these terms ever differ on an internal party matter, the constitution prevails.

Agents

An agent account is an application to recruit members for ZEAL. A new agent cannot register members or pay fees for them until a party administrator approves the account. Approval can be withdrawn. Members an agent registers stay linked to that agent.

Fees

Membership fees are shown in Kenyan shillings before you pay and are collected by Pesapal. A failed payment does not activate the membership. Fees already paid are handled under the constitution and the plan you bought; the website does not promise an automatic refund.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that is false, abusive, or used to register people without their agreement. Suspended accounts cannot sign in and are removed from the public roll.

The website

The site is provided to run membership. It may be unavailable during maintenance. Nothing on the site is legal advice. Kenyan law applies to these terms, and disputes that are not resolved by the party organs are handled in the courts of Kenya.
